Exploring Medical and Health Humanities in TCD

Call for papers for Conference on 7th March 2024.

We are calling for papers from TCD researchers and students in Medical and Health Humanities for one day Conference on existing scholarship and future directions in Medical and Health Humanities in TCD.

Place: TCD Long Room Hub

Time: Thursday 7th March 2024, day-long

TCD has had a significant presence in Medical and Health Humanities within the Irish and international landscape, including the longest-running seminar series in Medical and Health Humanities in Ireland. We would like to bring together existing and potential scholars from across all Faculties in TCD for a day-long conference and brain-storming on further development of MHH in TCD, including potential synergies, outside partners and funding, and other opportunities for development of the field, as well as raising the profile of MHH in TCD. We invite TCD faculty, affiliated researchers and students from all disciplines and all career stages to submit papers with the aim of 15-20 minute presentations.

Please submit a 300 word maximum abstract of the proposed presentations and a 150 word maximum brief biography to MedHealthHum@tcd.ie by 31st January 2024.
