The speakers will be medievalist Wendy Turner, with a talk entitled ‘The Medieval Brain and Mental Health: Senses and Speech, Communication and Cognition, Imagination and Intent, Movement and Memory’. This interdisciplinary event will also feature a talk from Matti Lehtihalmes entitled ‘Knowing our past to understand the present: The relevance of historical perspectives for speech and language therapy’. Finally, co-curators Deborah Thorpe, Caroline Jagoe and Margaret Leahy, will talk about the process of curating the exhibition and some of our personal highlights from the collection.

The event will run from 14:00–16:00 and you are welcome to join for any or all of it. Please do register, though, so that they  have an idea of the numbers:
