The speakers will be medievalist Wendy Turner, with a talk entitled ‘The Medieval Brain and Mental Health: Senses and Speech, Communication and Cognition, Imagination and Intent, Movement and Memory’. This interdisciplinary event will also feature a talk from Matti Lehtihalmes entitled ‘Knowing our past to understand the present: The relevance of historical perspectives for speech and language therapy’. Finally, co-curators Deborah Thorpe, Caroline Jagoe and Margaret Leahy, will talk about the process of curating the exhibition and some of our personal highlights from the collection.
